The Light Show of Longwood Gardens

When we visit Longwood Gardens a couple of months ago with my family, I noticed some cool decorations everywhere in the gardens, outdoor and indoor. I saw some people installing it, burying the tips on the ground, and ran some wires to connect it. I was wondering what are this stuff, I have no clue, but it sure look like glass balls. I was wondering maybe they have a show or something, so I checked on their brochure, and found out that this things lights up at night. It must be so beautiful to see this lights. I’ve read that Longwood Gardens have a Light show on certain dates indicated in their website which runs until the end of September. Thinking about this special event makes me want to go and see it.

Longwood gardens is one of my families favorite place to visit every year. Its so beautiful, so huge, and they showcase different flowers every season. Now that they have this lights installed everywhere, this would surely attract more tourist from around US. By the way, this lights are installed by Bruce Munro, you can check out the internet for more of his work. Below are some of my shots of the glass bubbles.

Photo above in W&B, I wish I took this in a normal shot, so you can see its raw color.

Below photo is what it looks like at night. Grabbed the photo from Longwood Gardens Website

This is really beautiful. It looks like rain drops. I wonder how it looks like at night?

And below is my precious, sitting on one of the benches outside the entrance of Longwood Gardens. Imagine, if you visit this place at night, you will be welcomed with beautiful Lights.

Below is the video when they were installing all this lights. Check it out, its so beautiful. =)
