Longwood Garden : Indoor Christmas Holiday Display #1

Okay, so this is quite a late post. I apologized for being such a slacker in posting our travels and adventures. Being a mommy of 2 active boys, stress is like my constant companion. It’s only like 2 months late, so it’s not so bad. :-)

Anyhow, I like to share to you some of my photos of our travels at Longwood Gardens on the last day of their Christmas Holiday Display inside the Conservatory.

When we entered the Conservatory from the right side entrance, the first thing we noticed were these stars that were hanging on the glass window ceiling. Kids were so amazed by it that they cant help themselves to stretched their neck backward and looked at it for a minute.Photobucket Photo below was one of the Christmas Trees that was decorated with White Ornaments. My little one strike a pose for a keepsake.Photobucket Who says white is boring? When you see all these white displays in the Conservatory, you will be dumbstruck by its beauty.Photobucket In this part of the Conservatory, they decorated everything white. Isn’t it very pretty! Photobucket These photos are my entries for this week Wednesday White!

The Abraham Lincoln Memorial in DC

Is the best place to go here in US in this time of the year and to witness the Cherry Blossoms Festival that they are now celebrating from March 20-April 27, 2012.

Last 2 years ago, when my mom was on vacation, I took her here on the first week of April. But because of the tough weather that time, the flowers from the cherry blossoms fell on the ground fast, so we were not able to see the blooms that we’ve anticipated. Still there were a lot of people and tourist who visited the place to celebrate the event. I would like to go this year again, but due to hubby’s busy schedule, we will pass this year. I hope next year I can finally see Cherry Blossoms blooms.

Anyhow, here is a photo of my Mom posing in front of the Lincoln Memorial in DC.

And here is Lincoln sitting pretty in his throne w/ my mom and J.

And here is the famous words of the 16th President of US w/ mom of course, who knows it by heart. =)

Here I am with my kids, inside the Memorial, overlooking the Washington Monument. Clayton is still so little here. :-D

And here are my boys, enjoying the one fine weather in DC. :-)
