It’s been a week now since we arrived here in my homeland Philippines. Jet lag was inevitable, but we adjusted just fine. It was tough for my little travelers, but later on they got used to the new time zone here in the Tropics.

We haven’t been out that much yet because we are still adjusting with the warm weather here. We left US in a Wintry temperature, so it’s really a big change for my little ones. So far they are doing fine. I am glad that they didn’t get sick with the weather here, because it wont be so fun if you have 2 sick kids right?

Anyway, we still have 5 weeks left before we go back home in US. There are still plenty of time for sight seeing, and going to the beach. I got our itinerary planned already in order to avoid any hassles and delays especially that its only a month vacation. I planned this trip 3months in advanced. I booked my tickets 3months before our flight in order to get cheap tickets online. There were a lot of websites that offers cheap tickets but I find Flightnetwork.com easier to navigate and has more choices that are more convenient for my two little travelers.

I am hoping that nothing will go wrong with our vacation. And that kids will have fun until it’s time for us to head back to reality.

I had been dreaming for 6 years now to step foot ones again in my Homeland and taste all the food that I missed most. Last week this dream came true, and was so excited about it. It’s not only me who went home, but also my kids tagged along. There were so excited to ride the big plane, especially the little one who is a first time traveler.

Below were my guys at BWI Airport. This Airport is very clean and not so busy. We were able to checked in our luggage right away and boarded in time. My boys were so behave, they didnt give me a hard time at all while waiting for our flight. rer e

Wisconsin

Have you ever been to Wisconsin? As for me, no I haven’t. My family haven’t went that far yet. But we are hoping to visit other States this summer and I hope that Wisconsin is among them. I’ve heard that they have resorts in wisconsin dells that are really pretty and a must see. My family will surely love to see it and enjoy the amenities that it has to offer. I’ve heard that it is really peaceful there, and the people are very friendly. The weather is perfect especially this time of the year where things are starting to sprung up. A good hike in the woods, fishing in the pond, boating in their river, breathing fresh air, and enjoying the perfect view from your balcony. Now that is what I call life. Won’t you just love it? For me and my family, nothing beats a trip to nature. And after a long hours of walking the trails, you have a nice comfort from one of the best Hotels in Town.

Thinking about this makes me feel so excited and can’t wait to get back home in US. I know hubby will surely love to visit Wisconsin. Although it’s far from Pennsylvania, the fun that it has to offer is worth it.

A friend of mine lives there, so getting a tour guide won’t be that hard cause she can tour us around Wisconsin. And they also love nature, she can take us to their favorite spot in the State and we’ll have a wonderful time exploring it.

Los Angeles is one of the City that I dream of visiting one day. But with my husbands point of view, visiting the City will only be just a dream. Los Angeles is a hundreds of miles away from the East Coast, it would take a plane ride to travel there. But in spite that, I am still hoping to visit the City one day, and experience the night life. It’s consider as one of the most magnificent City here in US where everything happens. This city has all the things that anybody dream of even the drug rehab in los angeles are top notch when it comes to facilities, treatments, and programs. I so wish to visit this City one day, I hope hubby will let me.

Longwood Gardens : Holiday Fountain Show

Ok, so I had been slacking as usual in this blog. I know it’s not an excuse not to update our travels, but I was just too lazy lately and got other things to tend to.

Anyway, you might thought I am done sharing our Winter Holiday experience in Longwood. Well, not quite! Lol. I promised this is gonna be the last of Longwood post, for now! I mean, I couldn’t get enough with this place. I have tons of photos, and I coudn’t help myself to take lots of photos every time, and it’s always different. But I know this is a late post so let me share you this before it will become super late. he he he.

Here goes….

I would like to share to you, the fountain show in Longwood Gardens. The most awaited Winter Holiday Fountain show ever. Because it happens at night time, when it get dark already, to see the colorful lights that they installed. Here are some of my photos and a short Video I took.

It was already late when my kids and I left Longwood that time. And I have to drive 2hours to get home. It was worth waiting for the show, because it was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. I think it lasted for 15minutes, I am not sure though. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed watching my short video. See yah in my next post!

Check the Car first before you travel

Since its Spring Season already, it’s time to do some car maintenance before you decide to do some travels. I am pretty sure some of you has travel plans already, but before you do so, it is important to check your car that everything is in good condition.

As for my car, it needs a car wash, an oil changing, new headlights, and need some checking on the tires. It also need some parts replacements that are about to go. The engine light indicator had been flashing last winter, that means some parts of my car are not functioning well. Hubby said not to worry about it, because it was only a little thing, but it sure need to be check before we travel. He said he can fix it by himself, all he needs is to get the exact parts and some accessories like a band clamps to hold it. Oh well, I just have to wait when he is not busy to fix it. But I sure am excited to hit the road and enjoy this beautiful Spring weather.

Appliance Lift

Yes! It’s finally Spring season! I don’t think we will gonna have a snow storm again, because I saw the bunnies are hopping out already on our backyard. It was fun to look at them. But I bet you are already doing your spring cleaning. Well, I do to. And I am gonna start with my kitchen.

Our kitchen is getting really boring and crowded. I need to pick out the stuff that we don’t need and broken so I got more space for my kitchen tools and appliances. How about you? Are you fixing your kitchen too? Well if you do, and wanted to have more space, you should check out this website, http://www.ovisonline.com appliance lift. Pierre Du Pont 64 foot Long Table

Hello to all my readers! How are you today? You’re probably anticipating my next post about the Winter Holidays in Longwood Gardens. Ss what I’ve promised in my previous post, I’m gonna share to you this time is about the 64ft Long Table of Pierre du Pont, that was set up inside the Conservatory in the exhibition hall.

This was the longest dining table that my kids and I ever saw. There were 48 chairs set up awaiting for the special guest. I am not sure if there will be a real dining that was going to happen that day, but it sure was beautiful and breath taking to look at. The staff really did an amazing job in decorating this table, it was like the center of attention of all visitors. It was really beautiful.

My kids and I were to glad that we visited Longwood that day, because it was their last day of there Holiday Display. Their next display would be Orchids Bonanza, if you wanna know about it, just visit their website for more info.

So much for this Crazy weather

So much for this crazy weather here in the East Coast, just when we thought that it’s Spring already, but here we are having a couple of inches of snow. And traveling is not a good idea. I bet a lot of people were disappointed because they were hoping for a nice Spring weather. I saw a lot of people at the mall buying Patio furniture to put on their patio. I hope they have a patio furniture covers to protect it from this unpredictable weather. Having a furniture cover sure is a big help to keep your furnitures looking nice and clean.

Holiday Night Lights Display in Longwood Gardens

In my previous post, I wrote about our Holiday Trip to Longwood Gardens. To those who haven’t read it, it’s in this Link, and this Link. I promised that I will post some photos of Longwood Gardens at Night. Well, here they are..Photo above is from outside the Conservatory. All the trees and pine trees were decorated with Christmas lights.

I love this photo above. This building is part of the Conservatory where you will find some exotic cactus. As you can see, they decorated the glass ceiling with stars. It’s probably amazing inside.

Ane below is the Fountain Area, overlooking from the Conservatory. They decorated it with Christmas lights.

And here is the close up look of the Fountain in the middle. Isn’t it pretty?The lights make it look like water running from it due to its synchronous blinking.

This photo above is the pathway that goes at the back of the Garden. It is lighted with this cute lamp post. In my previous post, I posted a photo of this in Daylight.

And below is the pathway when you enter Longwood Gardens. People were really enjoying the sight! My kids love it as well.

And this photo above was the favorite of all. It’s a giant Christmas Tree that is located by the pathway. During day time, this tree look so dull and you will hardly notice, but when the sun set at the Horizon, this amazing tree lights up the whole Garden. It was amazing. If you look closely at the pic, you will see a boy standing next to it, that’s how tall this Live Christmas Tree is!
