Feeding the Animals : Donegal Zoo, PA

The most favorite thing we do when we visit the Zoo is feeding the Animals. Some of you might think that its gross, but for us, its the most fun thing to do in the Zoo. You don’t have to worry about germs, or bacteria from the Animals, because here in US, you will find a washing area in every corner.

Here in Donegal Zoo, almost all animals can be fed. You can buy their goodies at the Entrance area for only a few cents. I cant remember the exact amount but it was not that much, the fun and the excitement of the kids in feeding the animals is worth it. Check out the stack of photos below, the guys are busy feeding the Goats, Kangaroos, Monkeys, and Horses.Photobucket

Check out the Monkeys. They are really smart. In front of their fence is a bucket hanging on the stick with a string attached on it on both end, its like a Pulley. If you wanna feed them, just pulled the string to get the bucket, then drop the their goodies in the bucket. It’s so funny, because the monkeys will pull the string right away, to get their goodies. My kids was laughing so hard seeing the monkey pulling the string. They are truly a very smart animal. It was fun to watch them and feed them.

How about you? Do you like feeding the animals in the Zoo?

Hershey Park: Reeses and Kisses

Okay, so I had been sharing about our trip in Hershey Park. I hope you’r not bored yet, cause this post is again another Hershey Park experience.

Well, there are so many stuff to do in that park, and I would like everybody to know what fun stuff we did, and what to expect in this big park. Its not like Disneyland or Disney World, but it will surely bring smiles to every kid, and its a nice place to go for a Family vacation in the Summer. I feel lucky that we live 40mins away from it, so any time, any day, we can go drive down there and have some fun. But expect to pay more than a hundred for the entrance fee if you are with friends and family, cause the ticket is $56.95 per person for one day admission, you can check the pricing here. It’s  quite expensive right? but thats ride all you can until 10-11pm, for the hours you can check here.

But what the heck, thats why we work right? So we can enjoy life, and have fun with the family. Anyhow, what Im gonna share are some of the rides that my kids ride in Hershey’s Amusement Park.

Below photo are my kids standing at the sign of chocolate brands. They are trying to determine what brand of chocolates they are. Jian is a Reese, and Clayton just barely on the Kisses. You will see this sign on every rides entrance. It will show you if you are tall enough to ride the rides.

And below are some of the rides that they are qualified to ride.Photobucket

There are so many rides for young and old, one day fun is not enough. When we went there last month, we didnt get to the East part of the park where The Boardwalk are, and we didnt get the chance to see the Sea Lion Show. Oh Well.. there is always a next time. Hopefully next summer we will be able to enjoy the Boardwalk.

Strolling the City Island of Harrisburg PA

I would like to share some photos that I took while we were strolling along the City Island of Harrisburg, PA.

It was a nice day to walk around the Island. The temperature was cool and the wind was still. The kids had so much fun running back and forth on the bridge(below photo), and was not scared of looking down on running water below. I have to watch them closely specially the little one is a bit aggressive and doesn’t know that he could fall if he look down to the water at the side of the bridge. All in all it was a perfect day for strolling. My mom and dad had a little bit of history of the place, and had fun walking side by side with the 2 little ones. =)Photobucket

Photo above is the walkway bridge that connects from the Island to the City.

(Bottom) In the City Island. They have some fun rides for the kids like railroad train ride, Carousel, and other children rides. When we went there the Raidroad Train ride and Carousel were not open yet, now its open for the summer season.
