Project 366 Blog Photo Challenge #276
Photo above was taken 2 months ago in the circle entering the Borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Gettysburg is one of the oldest borough here in PA, in fact it is where the Civil War took place. Gettysburg is just an hour away from our place, but we haven’t visited the National Civil War Museum and the Battlefield Tours yet. Hubby said that its just a waste of money because all you can see is just an empty field with a bit of monuments on it. And the tour guide will tell you such and such happen in this field, and this is where who fell during the battle, and this is where somebody who got killed, and so on and so forth. For hubby it is much better to read the book because its more accurate. Some what, I agree with him, but it would be educational for the kids too specially JJ who is very interested to learn anything. But I better just do what he says, to avoid civil war. LoL!
Anyhow, Gettysburg is located in the Country and most of their buildings are pretty old. One of the most popular things to do here aside from the battlefield tours is the Ghost Tours.
You can check out the Ghost Tours HERE if you are interested. I hope one day, we will do the Ghost Tours. I bet it would be fun.
That’s my Tuesday Travels of the Week.
