I know I am super behind in posting all our travels since our vacation in Phil. Everything are piling up now, I hope I can cope up before I loose it.
Anyway, I wanted to apologized once again for this late post, I am sure you have seen some of my post in the other blog but it’s not as informative as my post here.
Right now I would like to share to you about our experienced during our day tour stay in BlueWaters Resort Samal Island Philippines.
To get to the Resort you need to ride their Pumpboat ‘Danica’ from Davao Boat Club which is located at the Marina Wharf. It will take you across to the Island straight to the the dock of the resort. The fee is 10pesos per person one way. If you are a day tour you need to watch out for the last trip of the boat to head back to the city and that is 5pm.
When we arrived at the place, we were welcomed with the stillness of the water, powdery white sand beach, and very relaxing scenario. The place was very peaceful, so quite, and there’s no crowd. It’s because when we went there, Summer was already over and it was on weekdays, we felt so lucky to have the resort all by ourselves. It’s not a big resort like Paradise or Pearl Farm but it sure has everything you need for a family to enjoy. They have a restaurant that serves authentic Filipino dishes, pretty cottages, clean restroom and bathrooms, 2 infinity pool, and children’s pool. I can’t say about their room accommodations since we didn’t experience it. But we sure experienced their restaurant service and I tell ya it’s quite expensive for 1 meal and some viands are good for 1 person only such as fish, but since we are not big eaters, the servings were quite enough.
Below is what their cottages look like. It cost 300 Pesos to rent it. For other rates, you can check out their website at www.ebluwaters.com/
Below is their infinity pool. The water is sea water so it’s a little bit salty to the eyes. But I think its better than the Chlorinated one.My family in total relaxation in one of their pools.
Pretty patio under the Acacia Tree that keeps the place cool even if the sun is up.
So there you go, that is our day tour experienced in BlueWaters Resort. If you don’t have a car, no worries because there’s a lot of taxi cab waiting across the Island. And if you are worried about leaving your car by the wharf, no worries too because the parking area is gated and has a security guard that check everybody.
