I am finally done posting about our Va vacation, now I will be posting about our Spring trips. Since its Spring time, I will share to you the pretty places that we’ve been too here in US for the last 5years of experiencing this beautiful Season.

I have already posted about our trip to Lincoln Memorial last Tuesday as my entry for Tuesday Travels. Im gonna share again a photo of my Mom, and eldest son who was so happy to be reunited again with his dearest Lola, who raised him when he was 4months to 3 years old.

Yes, it was a Happy Moment. It was our first time to visit this place. Hubby was not with us this time, because he was locked up(literally).

Here are the 2 guys standing by the Reflecting Pool, between the A. L. Memorial and Washington Monument. You can see the Happiness in their faces.

The Abraham Lincoln Memorial in DC

Is the best place to go here in US in this time of the year and to witness the Cherry Blossoms Festival that they are now celebrating from March 20-April 27, 2012.

Last 2 years ago, when my mom was on vacation, I took her here on the first week of April. But because of the tough weather that time, the flowers from the cherry blossoms fell on the ground fast, so we were not able to see the blooms that we’ve anticipated. Still there were a lot of people and tourist who visited the place to celebrate the event. I would like to go this year again, but due to hubby’s busy schedule, we will pass this year. I hope next year I can finally see Cherry Blossoms blooms.

Anyhow, here is a photo of my Mom posing in front of the Lincoln Memorial in DC.

And here is Lincoln sitting pretty in his throne w/ my mom and J.

And here is the famous words of the 16th President of US w/ mom of course, who knows it by heart. =)

Here I am with my kids, inside the Memorial, overlooking the Washington Monument. Clayton is still so little here. :-D

And here are my boys, enjoying the one fine weather in DC. :-)
